Swallower
Level 10Predatory ArchetypeSea Blight MutantPrice: 7 / kg
"Mutant. Further proof of what the Blight does to predators such as Bloodgill. It changes not only their appearance, but also their behavior. Despite its size and fearsome appearance, Swallower hunts only small prey. It can swim for long periods with its maw wide open. Its folded, scaleless skin works like a blacksmith's bellows: it draws in and filters water, allowing Swallower to fill its gullet with fry. The mutant is large enough to suck in a beaver or another small animal, but this is extremely rare. Even so, keep children and cats away from Swallower habitats! Anglers value it not for scales, but for the acidic mucus that can be harvested from Swallower's crop."
