Finding Habitats and Float Casting
Locate fish habitats by observing splashes on the water.
Casting bait within splash zones increases the chance of a bite.
Schools of peaceful fish must be caught using a float.
Avoid casting bait too close to the boat, as bite chances are very low.
When preparing a cast, the tension level determines cast distance.
Managing Line Tension and Stamina
While reeling, you will need to monitor two indicators: Fish stamina and Line tension.
Your goal is to exhaust the fish without breaking your line.
Move the rod in the opposite direction of the fish during the struggle.
Pulling harder in the opposite direction reduces the fish stamina faster.
Once the fish’s stamina has been fully depleted, you can safely reel it in.
Pull the fish close to the boat to complete the catch.
Lures and Predatory Fish
Fishing for predator fish using a float is ineffective.
Instead, you will need to use bait that imitates fish movement.
