The initial release will feature a complete core gameplay loop alongside one major region to explore.
Players take command of their trawler and venture into the unfamiliar waters of the Submerged Lands.
Core Gameplay and Night Expeditions
Survivors have the freedom to chart their own course, fish for their livelihood, and scavenge what they can.
Anglers can cast lines to discover a wide variety of fish species, including unusual mutations that emerged in the changed waters.
Upgrading the vessel and equipment expands capabilities as players prepare for longer and more demanding expeditions.
As daylight fades, familiar waters become far less predictable and carry greater hazards.
Early Access Roadmap and Duration
The team currently expects DREADMOOR to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months.
Even after reaching the end of the available story content, the open waters will remain open to players.
Developers plan to gather community feedback regarding fishing, exploration, progression, difficulty, and performance.
